Hi, I’m Cherie Anderson – and I’ve been helping people become amazing tour guides for over 30 years.

I’ve spent the last two decades training tour directors and guides to not only do the job well — but to love it. From leading groups through historic cities to helping guides find their unique voice and confidence, this work is my passion.

I created Tour Guide Training because I know what it’s like to be just starting out, wondering how to break into the industry, or trying to level up your skills and stand out in a competitive field. I’ve helped hundreds of students go from unsure and overwhelmed to polished, professional, and ready to lead tours anywhere in the world.

Yes! A Certificate of Completion is issued for students that complete the lessons and pass the quizzes.
Is there help in getting hired?
My goal in all of my training is always to get my students hired. I include lists of employers, how to find additional local employers, informational interviews, help with interview preparation, help with hiring documents and my personal help. I can never guarantee a job but I do my best to help!
